Although Dennis Ross will take a broad strategic look at the region in his new post of State Department adviser, senior officials stress that Burns is the address for Iran policy.” Eli Lake at the Washington Times reports thatRoss will be the contral figure in producing a new national Security Decision Directive on Iran. Burns represented the U.S. in the most recent talks with Iranians in Wiesbaden on February 4.
