One Nation Senator Pauline Hanson has angrily denied rumours she is planning to join up to 200 anti-Muslim protesters at a rally in Melbourne's leafy north-east on Saturday.
Police have warned they will not tolerate violence or anti-social behaviour at the rally, which is being organised by the Sydney-based chairman of far-right group Party for Freedom.
The protesters object to plans to house up to 120 refugees from Syria and Iraq in a renovated aged care facility in Eltham.
The organisers of the rally are already billing it as the "Battle of Eltham".
