A teacher allegedly involved in the Trojan Horse scandal protested his innocence – and pleaded not to be banned from the profession he "loved".
Asif Khan told a professional conduct hearing he had been "unfairly targeted with incorrect notions and misunderstandings".
The former Arabic teacher at Oldknow Primary in Small Heath is accused of agreeing to the inclusion of an "undue amount of religious influence" in pupils' education.
