A group of terror apologists have defended the right of hate preachers to radicalise young British Muslims with their sermons, the day after the Government revealed plans to crackdown on extremism.

The controversial CAGE group have claimed Britain is now governed by a "politics of fear" and blasted Prime Minister David Cameron's proposals as "a grave threat to the liberties of all".

CAGE gained notoriety earlier this year after blaming the UK's security services for the radicalisation of the British extremist known as 'Jihadi John'.
