The San Antonio chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations or CAIR said Tuesday that it's disappointed that the Rodfei Sholom agreed to host a meeting led by ACT! for America.
Sarwat Husain, president of CAIR, said ACT! has extreme views on Islam and Muslims and that CAIR supported the synagogue when vandals recently spray-painted graffiti near the area.
"People like rabbis and clergy have no place in spreading hate and that is why we are shocked," said Sarwat Husain, president of CAIR. "We know who ACT! is so, we don't pay any attention to ACT! They can do their sinful work as much as they want."
