A popular Malaysian cafe in Western Australia's South West is at the centre of a vicious online campaign over its use of halal certified meat.
Mots Cafe in Bunbury posted an educational message about halal practices on its Facebook page last week, saying it wanted to raise awareness of the process after a negative comment was received.
"A negative review on our cafe received this week by an individual who did not eat at our cafe, but simply discouraged customers from eating at our cafe because it was 'halal', awakened us to realise and educate the importance of understanding 'halal'," the post read.
