Birmingham City Council has received 'hundreds' of allegations of school takeover plots and staff bullying dating back 20 years, it has emerged.
Education chief Brigid Jones revealed the authority had been inundated with claims from school staff, governors and parents since the Trojan Horse document became public.
And the council and Department for Education are set to appoint an official to fully investigate all the claims about an alleged takeover plot by hard-line Islamists and evidence gathered.
