The husband and friends of an Iranian woman missing from Dandenong for almost a month fear she has been abducted by Muslim hardliners because of her attempts to convert Muslims to Christianity.

Mandy Ahmadi disappeared from her home on the afternoon of December 16, taking her phone but leaving her handbag, money and credit cards.

Her husband, two sons, and other relatives - including a brother released from a detention centre five days later - have heard nothing since.
