Excerpt:
A teenager who was abused from the age of 12 by paedophile gangs in Rotherham has accused the town's authorities of continuing to "do nothing" about the scandal.
The girl, who is now 17, was protesting outside a meeting of Rotherham council to discuss the publication last week of the Jay report, which found that 1,400 children in the town were sexually exploited for more than a decade because of inaction by police and council social workers.
Councillors attending the the town hall meeting were repeatedly heckled by members of the public, who repeatedly called on them to resign en masse.
