Birmingham meat factory fined £10,000 for noise caused by deliveries in the middle of the night Sparkbrook firm Premium Halal Meat Poultry "flagrantly flouted planning laws" council committee told.
A Halal meat factory whose round-the-clock deliveries made life a nightmare for neighbours has been fined £10,000 following prosecution from Birmingham's planning department.
Premium Halal Meat Poultry, of Fellows Road, Sparkbrook, was also ordered to pay £7,000 legal costs after repeatedly ignoring warnings from council officers.
Residents had complained about truckloads of deliveries arriving throughout the night, even though the business is banned from operating between 7pm and 6am.
