A national advertising watchdog confirms it will not review controversial "honour killing" ads that were pulled off buses by Edmonton Transit this week.
The controversial ads - paid for by the American Freedom Defence Initiative and Stop Islam of America - read: "Is your family threatening you? Is there a Fatwa on your Head?"
The ad also featured seven photos of young women, some wearing hijabs. Smaller text read: "Muslim Girls' Honor (sp.) Killed by Their Families."
