The President of the Islamic Council of WA has condemned the teachings of Dutch anti-Islam politician Geert Wilders but said the council will not sanction protests if he comes to Perth.
A far-right politician and the founder of the Dutch Party for Freedom, Mr Wilders is slated to speak in Perth in February after the Federal Government granted him a visa.
"Mr Wilders is entitled to visit Australia as all people are, (but) the freedom to visit our country does not extend to the freedom to incite hate which could lead to violence and hate crimes against any group in Australia," Dr. Rateb Jneid said.
