The Forum sponsors lunches, webinars, live briefings, parlor meetings, and conference calls featuring its staff and fellows, former government officials, scholars, journalists, and others with insights into the Middle East and Islamism. Speakers delve deep into critical issues, surpassing what is found in mass media – always with an eye toward American interests. Most briefings occur along the New York-Philadelphia-Washington, D.C. corridor.

Gregg Roman will discuss critical issues facing the Middle East and their implications for American foreign policy. His talk will focus on the escalating Israel-Hamas conflict, the dangers of a full scale Israel-Hezbollah war, the role of the Houthis in Yemen, and the influence of Iran in the region. He will propose strategic actions for the U.S. to regain its leadership and ensure global safety, including re-designating the Houthis as a terrorist organization, refreezing Iranian assets to prevent funding of terrorism, and rethinking cooperation with the Palestinian Authority as well as how Gaza should look the day after the Israel-Hamas war ends.
