Local Middle Eastern Expert Speaks Out on Paris Attacks [on Josef Olmert]

After ISIS claimed responsibility for the Paris Attacks, the focus for many political leaders shifted to how to handle the terrorist organization.

“For starters, when you have a list of terrorist suspects, you go after them, " says USC Middle Eastern Studies Professor, and Israel native, Dr. Josef Olmert.

He says, there was a fault in the communication between the countries surrounding France leading up to the attacks.

“The Belgians and French were so close to each other; what was too difficult about coordinating,” asks Dr. Olmert. “That’s a monumental intelligence failure.”

Dr. Olmert adds, the organization is a reflection of a small portion of Muslims.
