Syria's Fourth Redeployment from Lebanon
In the face of mounting criticism by the Bush administration and a bipartisan push for sanctions in the American congress, Syria has slightly reduced its military presence in Lebanon, but the redeployment is hardly an indication that Damascus intends to honor recent American calls for a total withdrawal.
