Middle East Intelligence Bulletin
Jointly published by the United States Committee for a Free Lebanon and the Middle East Forum
About MEIB

Middle East Intelligence Bulletin (MEIB) was, until July 2004, a monthly online publication focused on internal political developments in the Middle East, especially those that are thinly-covered in other English-language publications. Founded in 1999 by Ziad K. Abdelnour, MEIB was guided by the belief that the provision of accurate, reliable information and objective analysis regarding issues of key concern in the region is a valuable contribution toward policy-making by the U.S. and other governments. In this spirit, MEIB generally did not offer policy recommendations.

In July 2002, the Middle East Forum joined the United States Committee for a Free Lebanon (USCFL) as co-publisher of MEIB in a venture designed to further improve and expand the publication.
