The controversy over Chas Freeman's nomination to head the National Intelligenc e Council continues to escalate. Today, Gabriel Schoenfeld weighs in against Freeman in the Wall Street Journal, and Robert Dreyfuss makes the case for him in The Nation. Laura Rozen, a supporter of Freeman, summarizes the debate at the Foreign policy blog. Freeman has the support of his friend Dennis Blair, the Director of National intelligence, perhaps not for the views that have caused alarm here.
