Power, harsh Israel critic, to non-Mideast post

Samantha Power, a Harvard genocide expert and former Obama campaign adviser, has been appointed to the National Security Council's multilateral institutions office. She has a disturbing record of stridently anti-Israel statements, some of which she now says he wishes she had not formulated the way she did. The position to which she has been appointed does not normally have a great impact on Mideast policy.
